All TTP admins, clan residents, and reservists are eligible to play, however have to be approved in the signups by those organizing the match. Don't get in this time? Don't sweat it. No real war is settled in one simple map. This is only the beginning.

What have I learned in 7,000 posts? by CivilWars on 06/30/08 with 5 comments.
I have been a console gamer since before I can remember. Then on 2006-12-21 23:34:00 a RL buddy of mine convinced me to get BF2. He and his brother had been playing since BF1942, and told me I would love it. At first I hated it. We roamed rogue servers, and were usually the only squad formed, let alone working together. Then one day it happened, probably in January '07, we found TTP. We always looked for servers with low ping, so I searched for a server with Texas in the name hoping the server would be close to home. I was ecstatic to get a ping below 20, but that was just the beginning.

Do Guns Really Create More Violence? Part 1 of 3 by Potemkine on 06/26/08 with 5 comments.
Just about everyone here agrees that strict gun control does not help crime and is unconstitutional. For a research paper in high school, I wrote about HOW it affects crime and HOW it's unconstitutional. I have done the legwork to reveal the true story about guns and societies in general. This will hopefully be a definitive guide to destroy the anti-gun argument that you may have with your friends, acquaintances, or co-workers.

Politics 101 - Pitfalls of Political Ignorance by Citizen X on 06/19/08 with 6 comments.
You would never know it, but I love to argue politics. I will be the first to admit when I am wrong in any dispute, but the opposition better be pretty damn convincing. There is nothing that makes my ears perk up quicker than when someone chimes in on a conversation with a comment that is, at its best, fundamentally flawed. Especially on the subject of politics.

LoneStar Mod site changes by ...bigdog... on 06/17/08 with 0 comments.
Ewok's lonestar mod is reaching its public debut. We've been using it on the TF2 server for some time, but it's approaching full-feature status. So, TTP has set up some site features for him to be able to express this talent. Forums, articles, downloads, menu links, all sorts of stuff. Want to help out? Want to be a mod developer? Get involved in the forum, and get Ewok's attention.

Are you too old for gaming? by Citizen X on 06/09/08 with 27 comments.
I had a conversation with someone the other day and they threw out the old adage, 'Aren't you a little old to be playing video games?' For those that are not aware, I am 35. Which puts me roughly on the edge of old as dirt. But, I am very comfortable with my age. I have been playing PC games for almost 20 years... This thought of what age you stop devoting your energy to what some call childish pursuits like video games has been passed around many times. Lets lay it to rest.
